Compared to last week, steer calves sold steady to 10.00 lower and yearling
steers sold steady to 5.00 lower. Heifers sold steady to 5.00 higher. Demand
was moderate to good for a moderate supply. Following Friday's sharply lower
cattle futures, the start of the week has provided some stability. Slaughter
cows sold mostly steady.
