Compared to last week feeder steers under 550 lbs. sold 10.00-30.00 lower with
heavier weights selling 2.00-8.00 lower. Feeder heifers under 650 lbs. sold
steady to 10.00 lower with heavier weights selling 5.00-20.00 lower. Supply
was heavy with moderate demand. Today's auction had a lot more plain type of
cattle than the last couple of weeks. The largest lots of the day were 289
steers weighing 928 lbs. that sold for 334.00/cwt. Another lot of 256 steers
weighing 760 lbs. sold for 374.50/cwt.
