Compared to last week, slaughter cows sold 2.00 to 6.00 higher and slaughter
bulls were 5.00 to 10.00 higher. The top slaughter bull sold for $267/cwt. This
report combines the regular slaughter/replacement sale with the replacement
cattle special this evening. The replacement special portion of the sale
brought in some high quality bred cows and heifers, and some groups of
impressive young pairs. Supply was moderate and demand was very good for all
portions of the offering.
