A large crowd was on hand for this Special Bred Cow Sale at Joplin Regional
Stockyards. The bulk of the offering consisted of bred cows mostly in the 2nd
stage with a wide variety of type, kind, quality and condition throughout the
sale. Volatility continues to plague the cattle industry but there was still a
lot of optimism ringside with very active bidding and a lot of interest,
particularly for several top quality consignments of bred heifers. Supply
moderate, demand good.
