Compared to last week, feeders saw uneven demand. Feeder steers weighing
300-500 lb traded $3.00 higher, while steers weighing 500-700 lb were $3.00
lower. Feeder heifers sold on stronger demand, with 300-500 lb heifers $7.00
higher and 500-700 lb heifers $14.00 higher. Lightweight feeder bulls weighing
300-500 lb sold $3.00 lower, while feeder bulls in the 500-700 lb range were
$14.00 higher. Slaughter cattle were not well tested this week due to a light
supply.
