Compared to last Thursday: Feeder steers sold 3.00-4.00 higher. Feeder heifers
traded 2.00-3.00 lower. There were some pretty wide price swings within all the
classes of feeder calves when compared to last week. The demand for the
lightweight calves is less than a few weeks ago due to calf health concerns
with the warmer temperatures. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 higher and
slaughter bulls traded steady.
