Compared to the sale two weeks ago, steers and heifers sold 5.00 to 15.00
higher with some spots as much as 30.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady. Really
good quality on hand for this Annual April Grass Sale, most long time weaned
with a health history and in attractive condition. Buyers were aggressive for
all weights and classes of what was a very balanced offering, with a nice
selection of yearling load lots, new crop calves and everything in between.
Supply heavy demand good to very good.
