Compared to last week, feeder steers 500 lb to 950 lb sold 3.00 to 10.00
higher. Not enough steers under 500 lb for a market test, however a higher
trend was noted. An outstanding offering of high quality steers were available
today. Feeder heifers 700 lb to 950 lb sold unevenly steady from 5.00 lower to
5.00 higher. A lower trend was noted on heifers under 700 lb, however thin
fleshed and fancy heifer calves sold steady to higher. Demand was good for
steers. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls sold
steady.
