Compared to last sale: In a light comparison Slaughter bulls steady, slaughter
cows steady to 4.00 lower. Demand strong. Quality attractive. The market held
strong this afternoon, even as the CME live cattle futures board closed 6.9
lower today. Much needed moisture has arrived and looks to continue into
Tuesday. Cooler temperatures are expected throughout the week with a warmup
forecasted to arrive Sunday.
