Fluid Milk And Cream - East U.S.

Released on November 28, 2025

In the East, milk production is seasonally strong. Demand for all classes is
lighter this week. Thanksgiving is negatively impacting demand, as several
processors throughout the region scheduled downtime. Spot sales to bottling
operations are down, but some contacts anticipate sales to pick up next week.
Contacts report Class II demand should increase next week as processors prepare
for the end of year holidays. Some cheesemakers say they were running busy
schedules early in the week but are closed for the holiday and into the
weekend. Cream is plentiful in the region and contacts say lighter demand ahead
of Thanksgiving pushed multiples lower. Butter makers are less interested in
cream volumes this week, as they prepared for the holiday. Condensed skim milk
was more available ahead of the holiday and contacts report lower prices for
spot loads, compared to prior weeks. Condensed skim prices range from $0.10
under to $0.15 over Class.
