Fluid Milk And Cream - East U.S.

Released on October 01, 2025

Milk production continues to rise in the region. Seasonal temperature changes
are contributing to increased cow comfort. Milk components continue to be high,
providing large amounts of cream to the market. Class I production and demand
remain steady. Class II production is seasonally stronger. Heavy whipping cream
and other dairy based baking ingredient production is on the rise to fulfill
upcoming holiday demand. Class III production is steady to stronger.
Manufacturers are purchasing some spot loads of milk to supplement their
contract loads. Class IV manufacturing is in a state of flux. Cream multiples
are down in the region, with supply outpacing demand. Butter churns are
operating at or near capacity. Condensed skim supply is heavy. Limited
production at some facilities is contributing to an increased amount of
condensed skim availability. Prices for condensed skim range from $0.30 under
Class price to $0.15 over Class. Beginning November 1, 2025, this report will
be published on Thursday's at 1:30 PM EST/12:30 PM CST
