Heavy production of butter continues this week, providing ample buttermilk for 
drying. Sales activity for butter milk powder was steady. The Global Dairy 
Trade (GDT) published earlier this week indicated a drop in BMP prices. The 
market in the Central and East did not reflect a drop in prices. The overall 
price range for BMP30 increased this week. Sales activity remained steady 
according to some contacts. Manufacturers can keep up with demand of BMP, but 
are not making more than needed.
