Dry Buttermilk - East and Central U.S.

Released on April 02, 2026

Buttermilk powder (BMP) supply is up and down this week in the Central and East
regions. Many manufacturers are focused on fulfilling contractual obligations
leaving very little available on the spot market. Nonfat dry milk is taking
priority in most facilities as it is drawing a premium on the spot market
compared to BMP. Contacts indicate some spot availability of BMP will soon be
available. The price range for BMP grew on both ends of the range with the
bottom seeing a $0.03 increase and the top increasing by $0.11. Inventories
remain tight.

Prices for: Central/East US, All First Sales, F.O.B., Edible Buttermilk Powder
