Buttermilk powder (BMP) is difficult to find on the spot market this week. 
Demand for BMP has increased recently, mostly due to the increased demand for 
nonfat dry milk (NDM). Many companies are using BMP in lieu of NDM. As a 
result, BMP is difficult to find directly from producers. The bottom of the 
range for BMP increased this week, while the top of the range remained the 
same. BMP production remains limited as many producers are prioritizing dryer 
time for NDM. BMP makers are able to fulfill contract loads.
