The buttermilk powder (BMP) spot market is more active this week. Milk powders 
in general are becoming difficult to obtain, as a result, many buyers are 
looking to secure loads of BMP to ensure inventory levels are secure. Prices 
for BMP are increasing; the bottom of the range jumped ten cents this week. BMP 
production is steady with no anticipation of increasing, despite ample amounts 
of buttermilk available for drying. BMP inventories are tightening. Currently, 
buyers can find loads, but they are growing scarce.
