Compared to two weeks ago:  Steer calves under 550 lbs 15.00 to 30.00 higher, 
over 550 lbs steady to 4.00 higher.  Feeder heifers under 500 lbs 10.00 to 
30.00 higher, over 500 lbs steady to firm.  Very good demand for this nice 
offering of high quality, light to moderate fleshed steer and heifer calves.  
The market was very active on those light weight, yearling making kind of steer 
and heifers, as well as for those bigger, replacement type heifers.  The market 
was active on the heavier weights that will go into finishing yards, but with 
the more abundant supplies of those kinds buyers don't have to battle nearly as 
hard as those yearling operators have to in order to get cattle bought.  The 
CME Feeder Cattle contracts have gained around 30.00 since the last sale which 
has helped greatly to give a little confidence to buyers.   Next reported 
auction will be Dec. 11, 2025.
