Compared to last week: There were too few comparable sales on steer and heifer
calves to determine a trend, however; a much lower undertone was noted
following a lesser demand. the bigger end of the steers though me with higher
prices and greater demand. Feeder steers weighing 700-750 brought 5.50 higher.
Feeder heifers didn't fare as well, as sentiment was lower overall. Average to
high yielding boner cows sold 3.00-9.00 lower and slaughter bulls remained
steady. Trade was moderate to steady, dependent on class of cattle.
