Compared to last week: Sale prices continued to climb with the board with steer
calves bringing up to 60.00 higher and heifer calves bringing up to 40.00
higher. Larger cattle seemed to slip back a bit this week but continued to be
in good demand. Average to high yielding slaughter cattle traded 3.00-6.00
higher on good demand as well. Trade was active with a good supply of better
type cattle. Cattle coming off wheat were in large supply as wheat fields are
playing out due to continuing dry conditions in the area.
