Lactose prices are higher at the top of the range and at the top of the mostly 
price series this week. Domestic buyers and Southeast Asian customers continue 
to pull strongly on available volumes, keeping sales activity firm. Producers 
are keeping output steady, but tighter supplies due to buyers securing 
shipments ahead of the new year are limiting spot availability. The market 
maintains a supportive tone as demand continues to press against available 
supply.
