NEW YEAR'S DAY SPECIAL FEEDER CALF AUCTION - - Compared to the feeder auction 2 
weeks ago, today 500 - 600 lb steer calves were 10,00 to 12.00 higher, 600 - 
700 lb were 7.00 to 13.00 higher. Heifer trade saw 500 - 600 lb calves 11.00 to 
25.00 higher while 600 - 700 lb calves 6.00 to 12.00 higher. Quality ran very 
deep in today's heavy offering from reputation herds with all feeder calves 
long time weaned and double vaccinated. Available today were loads lots, 
smaller packages and many replacement heifer opportunities. Demand was very 
good. The next scheduled feeder calf special sale is Jan 8.
