Contacts in the Central region say milk output is steady, and cream production 
is strong. Spot purchasers say cream volumes are available, but not excessive. 
Strong cream demand is present from Class II and Class III processors and are 
keeping volumes balanced. Some butter makers say they are not purchasing 
additional spot cream as they are using contract volumes and cream from within 
their network for churning. Butter production is strong and processors are 
running busy schedules. Retail butter demand is steady, but contacts report 
light food service sales. Stakeholders say export interest is softening 
somewhat as they are hearing from fewer international purchasers looking for 
loads this week. Spot loads of butter are available to meet current market 
demands.
