Compared to the last report: Trade activity and demand were good.
Retail hay demand was good.
Dairy hay demand was steady.
In the North inter Mountains, low level potassium hay sold for 180/ton.
According to the US Drought Monitor, worsening drought in parts of the
Northwest contrasted with locally heavy showers farther south.
In the Southwest, those showers led to targeted drought improvement but
also resulted in spotty flash flooding in some of the nation's driest
locations, including Death Valley, California.
The next available hay report will be October 10, 2025.
