Today was the Annual Special Thanksgiving Calf Sale. Compared to the sale two
weeks ago, steers under 800 lbs. sold sharply higher, although they were not
well compared. Steers 800 lbs. and heavier sold mostly lower. Heifers under 650
lbs. sold sharply higher, although not well compared, while 650 to 700 lb.
heifers sold 5.00 higher. Demand was good today. Supply was heavy and comprised
of several load lots.
