Receipts of feeder cattle this week were moderate, with a few offerings of
weaned calves over 500 lbs. selling on a strong demand. Lightweight calves
under 500 lbs. were mostly unweaned and carrying moderate flesh condition. No
trend comparison was available due to the absence of a reported sale the
previous week. Slaughter cattle sold on a strong demand as well, though no
trends could be established.
