Most of the trades were for future delivery.
Value Added cattle sold very well today.
CME feeder cattle futures, January contract, up 23.00 since the beginning 
of the month.
Most of the trading area could use a good rain, as extreme drought continues 
to creep back into parts of the South Central Region.
Supply included 89 percent from the South Central Region; 10 percent 
South East and 1 percent from the West.
Current delivery is 14 days from the day of the sale and is up to and 
including December 25th.
Deliveries are current thru June 2026.
The next sale will be January 15th, 2026.
 
Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (8% Steers, 18% Dairy Steers, 12% 
Heifers, 29% Beef/Dairy Steers, 33% Beef/Dairy Heifers).
Feeder cattle over 600 lbs was 40%.
Feeder Cattle prices FOB based on net weights after a 0-3% pencil shrink 
or equivalent, with a 12-100 cent slide > 600 lbs and 15-100 cent slide
