CME cattle futures have been very volatile this week, with futures dropping 
the limit on Tuesday before recovering some ground on Wednesday and Thursday.
Buyers are showing a bit more caution, but prices remain strong and demand 
continues to be very good.
Supply included 93 percent from the South Central Region; 5 percent South 
East and 2 percent from the West.
Current delivery is 14 days from the day of the sale and is up to and 
including September 25th.
Deliveries are current thru April 2026.
The next sale will be October 9, 2025.
 
Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (7% Steers, 19% Dairy Steers, 6% 
Heifers, 35% Beef/Dairy Steers, 34% Beef/Dairy Heifers).
Feeder cattle over 600 lbs was 14%.
Feeder Cattle prices FOB based on net weights after a 0-3% pencil shrink 
or equivalent, with a 15-20 cent slide > 600 lbs and 15-100 cent slide
