SLAUGHTER CATTLE 43 96 80
Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers sold 10.00 to 15.00 lower with
some instances of sharply lower on the fleshy, bawling or off color feeder
calves. Uncertainty in the futures market had buyers concerned. Rain in the
forecast most of this week slowed cattle movement which made for a light test
on feeder calves. Slaughter cows and bulls sold 1.00 to 3.00 lower.
