Dreary Halloween for Northern US Friday

A system continues to move up into the Northeast U.S. on Thursday afternoon, spreading showers through the region. The system will continue northeast for Friday, leaving behind some colder air across the South and Southeast that will mean some patchy frost. Another clipper system moving through the Canadian Prairies will move down into the Midwest for Friday, leading to general cloud cover and patchy, light showers.
