Big Severe Weather Event for Midwest Wednesday

Three active weather systems; severe outbreak Wednesday threatens tornadoes, damaging winds, and large hail Midwest.

A small system is moving through the Midwest, a front remains active near the Gulf coast, and another system is moving into the Northern Plains Tuesday afternoon. All three features are producing scattered showers and thunderstorms. The third piece of energy will go through the Midwest on Wednesday and will have enough fuel to produce a significant severe weather event with tornadoes, hurricane-force winds, and large hail from Missouri to Indiana and adjacent areas of the Midwest.
