Clipper Bringing Heavy Snow Tuesday
Heavy rain from the Ohio Valley into the Southeast. Heavy snow, strong winds and possible blizzard conditions from Montana through the UP of Michigan.
A system in the Southern Plains continues to move northeast on Monday afternoon. Scattered rain showers are spreading through the Central Plains, Midwest, and Delta regions as well. This system continues northeast for Tuesday with some areas of heavy rain possible from the Ohio Valley into the Southeast. A clipper system is moving into Montana as well and will move eastward through the Northern Plains and Upper Midwest on Tuesday. Rain will change to snow and be heavy from Montana through the UP of Michigan with some areas seeing more than six inches of accumulating snow. Strong winds could cause blowing and brief blizzard conditions as well.
