Cold Air Spreads Briefly Friday

A system moving from northern Minnesota to Lake Superior Thursday afternoon and is pushing a cold front through the middle of the country with increasing rainfall. The front will continue to push eastward with the system tonight, and through the East Coast on Friday. A brief burst of colder air will move through behind the front and is being brought through with some rather strong winds. Another system will move through the Pacific Northwest Thursday and into the Canadian Prairies and Northern Plains on Friday. Most of the precipitation to this system will occur north of the border.
