Storms and Heavy Rain Move Through the South
Showers and heavy rain for the South. Above-average temperatures for the western Midwest, Central Plains.
Showers and storms will develop across the southwest Plains tonight before spreading east into the Delta on Saturday. By Sunday, the storm system will shift into the Southeast. Swaths of 1-3 inches of rain are possible with this system, which could help build soil moisture and increase water levels along the southern Mississippi. Meanwhile, above-average temperatures will continue across the North with highs reaching into the 50s and 60s across the Western Midwest and Central Plains.
