Yet More Central US Storms Thursday

A small disturbance is moving through the southeastern Plains into the Midwest on Wednesday afternoon. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forming along and ahead of the disturbance and some severe weather will be possible this afternoon and evening from northern Texas into the Lower Ohio Valley. The primary impulse will continue eastward through the Ohio Valley on Thursday where showers and thunderstorms will continue. Another system moving into the Pacific Northwest will move into the Plains late on Thursday, giving rise to widespread showers and thunderstorms overnight into Friday. Some additional severe storms will be possible in the Central and Southern Plains with that system as well, which will be more pronounced a bit farther eastward on Friday.
