Clipper Moving Through Great Lakes, Northeast Friday

A clipper is moving through the Northern Plains Thursday afternoon. Some showers have developed south of the Canadian border, but most of the precipitation is found to the north. The system will deepen as it moves through the Great Lakes and Northeast on Friday, increasing winds and producing more widespread showers. Some thunderstorms will be possible from the Midwest down to the Gulf as well. The next and most important clipper will move into the Pacific Northwest tonight into Friday as well.
