Front Moving Through Central US Tuesday

A stalled front across the Gulf Coast is producing some showers and thunderstorms Monday afternoon, including some heavy rain in the Delta. Another system moving through Canada is dragging a cold front through the Northern Plains. At midday Monday, most of the activity is in Canada, but this front is expected to produce showers and thunderstorms into the Upper Midwest as well for Monday. The front slides a bit farther southeast into the Central Plains and Upper Midwest for Tuesday where scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue.
