Northern Front Continues to Produce Showers and Thunderstorms Wednesday
A stalled front brings scattered storms to the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic, with severe weather possible.
A front has stalled out across the northern U.S. Tuesday afternoon. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forming along the front in various locations, including a somewhat more organized area of showers moving from Nebraska into South Dakota. That little disturbance could produce some severe weather into the Upper Midwest tonight, and continue some stronger storms for the eastern Midwest and Mid-Atlantic for Wednesday. Other areas of showers and storms will remain possible near the front. Very hot and humid conditions continue south of the front.
