A Midwest storm system moves Northeast Wednesday, while another brings rain and strong winds westward.
A small system is moving through the Midwest Tuesday afternoon. Some areas of showers and a few thunderstorms are developing across the region. The system will move into the Northeast for Wednesday. At the same time, the next system will move through the Pacific Northwest and into the Canadian Prairies with scattered showers that will develop into the Northern Plains as well. Strong winds are forecast ahead of the system in the Plains and Prairies.
