Large System Exits the East

Blizzard conditions in the Upper Midwest will subside Monday as snow showers taper off and winds weaken. However, lake-effect snow showers will continue across the Great Lakes throughout the day. Cooler air will blanket much of the Plains with highs remaining below freezing for some parts of the Central Plains.

High temperatures: Single digits/20s Northern Plains and Upper Midwest; Teens/30s Canadian Prairies; 20s/30s Central Plains and Pacific Northwest; 30s/40s Southern Plains; 30s/50s Southeast.
