EIA: U.S. Diesel Climbs 3.5cts W-o-W to $3.753 Gallon

MIAMI, FL (DTN) — U.S. on-highway diesel prices increased for a second straight week in the week ending November 3, lifted by higher regional averages across most of the country, according to data released Tuesday (11/04) by the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

The national average diesel price climbed by 3.5cts to $3.753 gallon, standing 21.7cts higher than the same week a year ago.

East Coast (PADD 1) diesel prices rose by 3.1cts to $3.754 gallon, or 16.4cts above last year.

Within the East Coast, New England (PADD 1A) inched up by 0.3cts to $3.936 gallon, and was 18.3cts higher than the same week of last year.

Central Atlantic (PADD 1B) increased by 2.7cts to $3.908 gallon, and was 11.6cts higher year-on-year.

Lower Atlantic (PADD 1C) advanced 3.6cts to $3.678 gallon, and was up 17.8cts from last year.

Midwest (PADD 2) diesel prices climbed by 5.8cts to $3.773 gallon, and were 25.6cts higher year-on-year.

Gulf Coast (PADD 3) rose by 2.4cts to $3.374 gallon, and was 19 cts above year-ago levels.

Rocky Mountain (PADD 4) edged down 1cts to $3.676 gallon, while staying 9.3cts higher than last year.

West Coast (PADD 5) climbed 1.4cts to $4.499 gallon, and was 30.9cts above last year.

West Coast less California increased 2.6cts to $4.121 gallon, and was 35.8cts higher than last year.

California slipped 0.1cts to $4.933 gallon, while remaining up 25.2cts year-on-year.
