DTN’s Grain Quick Takes

OMAHA (DTN) — Posted 12:37 — December corn is up 6 1/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are up 5 3/4 cents, September KC wheat is down 4 1/4 cents, September Chicago wheat is up 1/4 cent and September Minneapolis wheat is unchanged. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 646.12 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.180 and September crude oil is down $3.50 per barrel. August gold is down $44.30 per ounce. Headed for the Tuesday finish, grain and soy markets are mixed. Corn is the big winner on falling conditions and a warmer and drier outlook ahead. Soybeans and meal are firm, but bean oil is under pressure with the falling crude prices with September crude sliding below $80 per barrel. Wheat is mixed. In corn, there is beginning to be talk about yield falling to 180 bpa or below.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 547.03 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.210 and September crude oil is down $3.15 per barrel. August gold is down $44.20 per ounce. At midmorning crude oil is crashing, equities are flying. Corn is sharply higher on the fall in crop conditions. Wheat is mixed and soybeans modestly firmer but pressured by the weak bean oil market.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 208.63 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.010 and September crude oil is down $2.94 per barrel. August gold is up $9.70 per ounce. USDA: Private exporters reported sales of 197,272 mt of corn to unknown destinations for 2026/2027. Corn is stronger on worsening conditions with beans little changed and wheat lower for the fourth day.
