Severe Storms Crossing Plains Into Midwest on Friday

Showers have become scattered across the Ohio Valley Thursday afternoon, giving somewhat of a break from the heavy rain over the last couple of days. Another system is moving out of the Rockies and into the Plains. Showers and thunderstorms will quickly develop later this afternoon and continue overnight into Friday across the Plains. Some snow will occur across the north while severe storms will be possible across the Central and Southern Plains. Another round of strong-to-severe storms is expected on Friday as the system passes from the Plains into the Midwest. All forms of severe weather will be possible.
