Corn Futures Lower at 6:00 a.m. CST Monday

Corn: March corn futures settled down 1 at $4.50 in very quiet holiday trade Friday, once again unable to close above that level.

Soybeans: March soybeans ended the day down 4 cents to close at $10.72 1/2, pressured by weak bean and crude oil and no new China sales.

Wheat: March KC futures finished down 1/2 to close at $5.33 1/2 in dull trade.

Live Cattle: February live cattle futures continued to move in a sideways and narrow range as it has for 2 weeks to end up $1.10 higher and close at $229.65.

Cotton: March cotton gapped higher and closed up 0.25 cent to end the day at 64.49 for the sixth higher close in the past 7 days.
