Soybeans: January soybeans rose 2 1/4 cents in a quiet reaction to more China business, ending the day at $10.93 1/2.

Wheat: March Kansas City wheat closed down a penny in slow trade to finish at $5.22 1/4.

Cotton: March cotton closed down 0.15 cent to end the day at 63.97.

Live Cattle: February live cattle futures gapped higher, above the 50-day moving average, finishing up $2.42 to settle at $230.95.
