National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers 211.53, heifers 211.34. Dressed delivered steers 329.32, heifers
329.95. Weekly boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights
Choice 364.27, and Select 351.90.
National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average
compared to last week, Early weaned pigs are firm to 2.00 higher and feeder
pigs are generally steady. Feeder pigs 10-12 lbs cash basis 65.11; 40 lbs
cash basis 83.38.
Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct Barrows
& Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs Carcass Base price was down 1.12 at 71.53.
Sows live price 300-449 lbs 53.43, 450-499 lbs 62.76, and 500-549 lbs 64.69.
SC Grain on Monday: Corn bids were mixed, 1 cents lower to 12 cents higher;
elevator bids 4.03-5.19, processor bids 4.64-5.29. Soybeans bids were 11 to 12
cents lower; elevator bids 9.53-10.89 and export 11.24. Wheat bids were mixed,
3 cents lower to 1 cent higher; elevator bids 4.94-4.95.
Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was .25 lower at
62.18.
