SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers 1,573 lbs at 225.06 heifers 1,407 lbs at 225.26. Dressed 
delivered steers 1013 lbs at 350.94, heifers 916 lbs at 351.77. Weekly 
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 2.84 lower at 375.06
and Select 2.86 lower at 357.80.  
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average compared
to last week, Early weaned pigs are mostly 1.00 to 2.00 lower and feeder pigs
are 1.00 to 3.00 higher. Trading moderate, with light to moderate demand and 
mostly 
mostly moderate offerings for early weaned pigs, while feeder pigs experience 
moderate
demand for mostly light to moderate offerings. Feeder pigs 10-12 lbs cash basis 
58.88;
40 lbs cash basis 82.17.
   Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs live price was n/a.  
Sows live price 300-449 lbs 62.33 450-499 lbs 71.48, and 500-549 lbs 
72.88.
   SC Grain on Monday: corn bids were 4 to 5 cents higher; elevator bids 
4.09-5.09, processor bid 4.64-5.14. Soybean bids were 33 cents higher; 
elevator bids 10.17-11.27, export bid 11.77. Wheat bids were 5 to 17
cents higher; elevator bids 5.04.
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 7 cents lower
at 62.56.
