SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers 1,556 lbs at 239.82 heifers 1,366 lbs at 239.83. Dressed 
delivered steers 1026 lbs at 372.43, heifers 879 lbs at 372.21. Weekly 
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 0.20 higher at 
365.54
and Select 3.17 higher at 349.73.  
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average compared 
to 
last week, Early weaned pigs are mostly 2.00 higher and feeder pigs are steady.
Mostly moderate demand and moderate offerings.  Feeder pigs 10-12 lbs cash 
basis 66.48;
40 lbs cash basis 80.27.
   Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct Barrows & 
Gilts
US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs live price was n/a. Sows live price 300-449 lbs 
65.55 450-499 lbs
76.00, and 500-549 lbs 75.47.
   SC Grain on Monday:  SC Grain on Monday: Corn bids were mostly 1 cent 
higher, one
 location 6 cents higher; elevator bids 3.98-5.03, processor bids 5.03.  
Soybeans bids were
 12 to 13 cents higher; elevator bids 9.81-10.16, processor bid n/a and export 
10.56.
Wheat bids were 1 cent higher; elevator bid 4.44.
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.12 cents
lower at 62.41.
