SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   SC Livestock Auctions: No comparisons made due to limited comparable 
sales. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 350-400 lbs 415.00, 400-450 lbs 
410.00-420.00, 500-550 lbs 377.00-385.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and 
Large 1 350-400 lbs 385.00-400.00, 400-450 lbs 380.00, 450-500 lbs 
335.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 350-400 lbs 425.00-440.00, 400-
450 lbs 405.00, 450-500 lbs 404.99-415.00. Slaughter Cows: Breaker 75-80% 
lean 148.00-159.00, Boner 80-85% lean 160.00, Boner Low Dressing 135.00-
144.00, Lean 85-90% lean 132.00-140.00, Lean Low Dressing 60.00-127.50. 
Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 187.00, Low Dressing 151.00.
   Bred Cows: Medium and Large 1 1175-1450 Young to Middle Aged Cows bred 
3-9 months 1800.00-2800.00 per head. Medium and Large 2 930lbs Middle 
Aged Cows 1-3 months bred 2000.00 per head.
   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-320 lbs was 62.55. Sows live 
price 300-450 lbs 65.15; 450-500 lbs 70.91; 500-550 lbs 71.89.
   SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 1 to 2 cents lower, new crop 
bids were 1 to 2 cents lower; new crop elevator bids 6.04, current corn 
elevator bid 5.54-6.04, current processor bids 5.74-6.09, new crop corn 
processor bids 5.99-6.29. New Crop Soybean bids were 2 cents higher;
new crop elevator bids 13.01-13.41 and new crop export 13.46-13.52. Wheat 
bids were steady to 2 cents higher, new crop bids were 1 to 2 cents 
higher; current elevator bids 7.01, new crop elevator bids 7.32, and 
current processors 6.00-8.81.
   Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 66 
cents lower at 77.44.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State 
Farmers Market on Wednesday. Beans approx. 27 lb sks Lima Green 35.00;
