SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 400-
450 lbs 390.00-435.00, 450-500 lbs 360.00-400.00, 500-550 lbs 350.00-
385.00, 550-600 lbs 340.00-370.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-
450 lbs 380.00-435.00, 450-500 lbs 377.50-425.00, 500-550 lbs 330.00-
367.50, 550-600 lbs 320.00-357.50. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 
400-450 lbs 360.00-405.00, 450-500 lbs 340.00-375.00, 500-550 lbs 315.00-
330.00, 550-600 lbs 310.00-325.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 
137.00-170.00; Boners 80%-85% lean 134.00-174.00; Lean 85-90% lean

   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1090-1125 lbs Middle Aged Cows with

Middle Aged Cow with Calf under 150 lbs 2650.00 per pair. Medium and 
Large 2 840 lbs Middle Aged Cow with Calf 150-300 lbs 2300.00 per pair. 
Medium and Large 3 885 lbs Young Aged Cow with Calf 150-300 lbs 2800.00

   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs weighted average live price 
was 63.39. Carcass basis prices were 2.56 lower at 82.82. Sows live price 
300-450 lbs 62.69; 450-500 lbs 70.21; 500-550 lbs 71.75.
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were 2 to 3 cents higher, new crop bids 
were 2 to 3 cents higher; elevator bids 5.56-6.06, current processor bids 
5.76-6.11, new crop corn processor bids 6.00-6.30. New crop Soybean bids 
were 14 to 15 cents higher; new crop elevator bids 12.99-13.29 and new 
crop export 13.44-13.50. Wheat bids were 6 to 7 cents higher, with one 
location 22 cents higher, New Crop Wheat bids were 5 to 6 cents higher; 
current elevator bids 6.98, New Crop elevator bids 7.31, and processors 
6.00.
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 46 cents
higher at 78.10.
