SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   SC Livestock Auctions: No comparisons made due to limited comparable 
sales. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 450-500 lbs 455.00. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 300-350 lbs 420.00, 350-400 lbs 400.00-
430.00, 400-450 lbs 400.00, 450-500 lbs 400.00, 500-550 lbs 370.00. 
Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 300-350 lbs 480.00-490.00, 350-400 lbs 
485.00-490.00, 400-450 lbs 435.00-445.00, 450-500 lbs 430.00-435.00, 500-
550 lbs 410.00. Slaughter Cows: Breaker 75-80% lean 186.00-189.00, Boner 
80-85% lean 180.00-202.00, Lean 85-90% lean 147.00-150.00, Lean Low 
Dressing 136.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 190.00-216.00.
   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-320 lbs was not reported. Sows live 
price 300-450 lbs 61.19; 450-500 lbs 68.64; 500-550 lbs 71.07.
   SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 9 cents lower, new crop bids 
were 6 to 8 cents lower; new crop elevator bids 4.50-5.59, current corn 
elevator bid 5.12, current processor bids 5.17-5.42, new crop corn 
processor bids 4.80-5.55. Soybean bids were 11 cents lower; new crop bids 
10 to 11 cents lower; current elevator bids 11.34, new crop elevator bids 
11.32 and new crop export 11.92-11.97. Wheat bids were 9 to 16 cents 
lower; elevator bids 4.92-5.47, and processors 4.72 to 7.37.
   Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 31 
cents lower at 74.23.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
