SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   SC Livestock Auctions: No comparisons made due to limited comparable 
sales. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 300-350 lbs 540.00. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 300-350 lbs 480.00, 400-450 lbs 425.00-
445.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 300-350 lbs 500.00-530.00, 350-
400 lbs 470.00, 400-450 lbs 430.00-440.00, 450-500 lbs 430.00, 500-550 
lbs 400.00. Slaughter cows: Breaker 75-80% lean 173.00-181.00, Boner 80-
85% lean 170.00-191.00, Lean 85-90% lean 150.00, Low Dressing 193.00-
206.00. Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 193.00-206.00, Low Dressing 
175.00-189.00.
   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-320 lbs was 70.86. Sows live 
price 300-450 lbs 63.36; 450-500 lbs 70.55; 500-550 lbs 71.50.
   SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 9 to 10 cents lower, new crop 
bids 8 to 9 cents lower; elevator bids 5.46, new crop elevator bids 4.83-
5.89, current processor bids 5.51-5.66, new crop processor bids 5.13-
5.48. Soybean bids were 10 cents lower; new crop bids 9 to 10 cents 
lower; current elevator bids 11.80, new crop elevator bids 11.59, and new 
crop export 12.19-12.20. Wheat bids were 7 to 9 cents lower; elevator 
bids 6.21, and processors 5.06-8.11.
   Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 73 
cents lower at 79.10.
